In 1988, in the very first semester of his orchestral studies in Freiburg i. Br., later Musikhochschule Stuttgart, Georg was booked by the Orchestra of the State Theatre Stuttgart for a cross-style, difficult, solo in the long-standing opera by Bernd Alois Zimmermann: "Die Soldaten". (incl. CD production for Teldec, tour in the USSR Bolshoi Theatre Moscow). Work in the orchestra's opera repertoire followed.

Then in 1991 Georg attended the "summer camp of Classical Music" for the best students worldwide – Schloss Salzau/Plön at the Schleswig-Holstein music Festival. Unfortunately, the founder of the Orchestra Academy, Leonhard Bernstein, died six months before, but Sir George Solti and many other celebrities conducted. Philharmonic of the SHMF", under the permanent leadership of Justus Frantz, for about 10 years performed in the programme "Achtung Klassik" produced by ZDF (accompanying Montserrat Caballé, Jessye Norman, Cecilia Bartoli, u.va stars in live recordings) and took part in several world tours and of course countless concerts in the famous concert halls of Germany, Tokyo, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Budapest, Prague and Kiev. The highlight for the Chamber Philharmonic of the SHMF (Philharmonie der Nationen) was performing as the official touring orchestra on the state visit to China by the then Federal President Roman Herzog.

Following this from 1995-2005 Georg was permanent guest first Clarinet with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra under Dennis Russell Davies and in parallel 1995-2006 held the same position in the Chamber orchestra Cologne under Helmut Müller-Brühl. Numerous CD releases (Sony Classical, ECM, Naxos etc.) accompanied this time.

1995-2006: Contract for first clarinet/sax at the Apollo Theatre in the Si-Centrum Stuttgart for musicals such as Miss Saigon, Dance of the vampires, 42nd Street, Elisabeth, etc.

2007-2013 contract at PALLADIUM THEATRE STUTTGART for Solo Reed at Wicked, TANZ DER VAMPIRE II , Rebecca.

From 2005 in the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn (Gazarian, now Chief Conductor Case Scaglione)

2006 started private studies conducting with Wolfgang Heinz, Kapellmeister at the Stuttgart State Theatre and started Orchestral arranging, including the opening piece of the big Jubilee Gala 50 years of Stuttgart Ballet in June 2011.

2013 completed the production "reflection" for Kevin Tarte. Complete realisation incl. Orchestra arrangements, booking of the orchestra, conducting and editing; Final mix together with several Grammy Award winners Peter Len (Tritonus Stuttgart) Guest singers on the production: Pia Douwes and Willemijn Verkaik. Critique in the Musical magazine: "This production sets new standards in this genre..."

Since 2014, Georg has been working for the state Philharmonic of Rhineland-Palatinate in Ludwigshafen and the theatre and Orchestra of the city of Heidelberg.

Since 2016 teaching activities in municipal Music schools.

Currently Reed 2 with clarinet, piccolo flute, tenor sax, soprano sax, in the production of "CHIGAGO" (Kander/Ebb) at the Castle Festival in Ettlingen (near Karlsruhe). Conductor : Tobias Leppert.
